Taxpayers will be exposed to a minimum $60 million black hole after the money was wiped from the state superannuation fund following the recent collapse of the Cross City Tunnel.
Thousands of public servants including the state's teachers, nurses, police and bureaucrats have had the money wiped from the taxpayer-guaranteed fund.
The amount will be in addition to the state's current superannuation liability of around $15 billion.
